Xining is the capital of Qinghai province; since the operation of Qinghai-Tibet railway, Xining has become the starting and most selected city for taking train to Lhasa. if tourists want to drive to Lasa from Xining, there are 3 roads, they are respectively G109, G214/G317 and G214/G318; among the 3 routes, the most convenient and the easiest is taking G109, which starts at Xining and ends at Lhasa, passing Korkolor lake, Golmud (2808M), Tuotuohe (4533M), Mt.
